The mission of UWoR is to provide as much of the funds raised to the sponsored women and their families as possible.  A fundraising goal is set at the start of each campaign and then implemented.  Funds raised have helped pay down medical expenses, wig costs, utility bills, and even mortgages. Promoting our organization, recruiting volunteers, and networking with businesses is an ongoing project and crucial to the growth and sustainability of UWoR.  Increased awareness of our organization will not only increase our donations and participation of local residents in fundraising events, but it will also increase our volunteer base. What’s more, it will increase the involvement of the public and local businesses, but most importantly, will increase the number of women and their families that are helped.
