Cathie McGrath is a Sr VP of Construction Claims for a large national commercial insurance broker specializing in construction for over 30 years where she provides construction claims management services for all lines of coverage. She has responsibility for managing the NY based eastern region claim service center and the team of claim professionals that are dedicated to construction clients.  She is responsible for all aspects of the claims advocacy services for contractor clients as well as national construction / development accounts. Cathie is a subject matter expert on NY Labor Law issues, Additional Insured coverage and Contractual Indemnification issues, negotiating claim disputes, and commercial insurance coverage analysis.

Cathie received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Michael’s College and received her Juris Doctor from New York Law School. As a lifelong resident of Rockland County, after learning that UWoR reached out and helped a neighbor who was going through a difficult time, Cathie joined United Women of Rockland looking for an opportunity to become more engaged in giving back to the Rockland community.
